There have been reports that Pogoń Szczecin considered signing Grzegorz Krychowiak, who has been a free agent since early July. Wieczysta Kraków was also reportedly weighing up a move for the midfielder. The interest from Polish clubs comes despite earlier suggestions that the player had ruled out playing in the Ekstraklasa. Krychowiak had also received offers from clubs in countries including Iran, Iraq, Australia, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan, but they did not interest him. The player has more recently stated that he is not ruling out a move to the Polish league.
