Ferencváros has signed 19-year-old American center-back Griffin Garnett from Richmond Kickers of the USL League One. The length of the contract was not made public. According to comments from sporting director Hajnal Tamás published on fradi.hu, Garnett is a member of the US U20 national team squad and spent about three weeks with the Hungarian club for an assessment. Garnett will initially play for the NB III reserve team. Tamás stated that the club believes he has the potential to reach the senior team in the medium and long term. His Transfermarkt market value is currently €125k.
