Granit Xhaka Transfer from Sunderland to Juventus

Juventus are interested in signing Granit Xhaka. According to Football Insider, Sunderland have no intention of considering an offer for him in the January transfer window. A former chief scout, Mick Brown, claimed that the midfielder is a crucial part of Sunderland’s plans and that they are not looking to sell him. Brown told Football Insider that Sunderland are not going to let Xhaka leave in January and will not listen to offers, even if clubs such as Juventus or others are looking at him.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are once again showing strong interest in Granit Xhaka, with the Sunderland midfielder being a priority target ahead of the January transfer window. Juventus had previously explored signing Xhaka during the summer, but negotiations stopped before an agreement could be reached. The Serie A club has now revived its pursuit after closely monitoring his performances since joining Sunderland. Reports suggest that Sunderland would demand a minimum of €15 million to consider a sale, and would also require assurances of securing a high-calibre replacement.

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Sunderland's 33-year-old Swiss international midfielder Granit Xhaka, who has one goal and three assists in 11 league appearances. A report via Football Italia suggests a January transfer would likely cost more than €15 million, which is higher than his €12.00m market value listed by Transfermarkt. Sunderland are not expected to be willing to sell the important player mid-season and it is considered unlikely he would push for a transfer, meaning any move may have to wait until the summer.
