Following his season in Serie B with 25 appearances, 21-year-old Italian goalkeeper Giovanni Daffara is attracting interest from several Serie A clubs, including Cagliari, Udinese, and Lecce. Avellino has exercised its option to sign the player from Juventus, but the Turin club has until June 20 to activate a counter-option. The clause is set at one million euros, and according to Prima Tivvu, Juventus is expected to exercise it and then sign Daffara to a contract renewal until 2030. Daffara's current contract with Juventus Next Gen expires on June 30, 2028, and his Transfermarkt market value is €3.50m.
