Giovani Lo Celso Transfer from Real Betis to Rosario Central
Rosario Central has contacted Giovani Lo Celso, with the club's directors communicating with the midfielder to ask about his situation. The club wants to bring him back and have him play alongside Ángel Di María. Lo Celso, who was recently being considered by Inter Miami, would be willing to return to Rosario Central because his primary goal is to participate in the 2026 World Cup and he requires more playing time. The primary difficulty is financial, as Real Betis is requesting approximately 15 million euros for his transfer, an amount that Rosario Central cannot afford. According to TyC Sports, his return could only happen if he is able to leave as a free agent, despite being under contract until June 2028. His return is currently considered very difficult unless there is an unexpected development during the transfer window. In a press conference, Pellegrini said that it is impossible to prevent anyone from leaving and that Giovani Lo Celso is considered one of the most important players in the squad and will continue to be so, at least from his technical viewpoint.
From Argentina, there's talk of Giovani Lo Celso's return to Rosario Central, but currently, no one at Betis considers such a departure for the attacking midfielder. The speculation about his move has been circulating, yet the club remains firm on not planning an exit. This comes after Lo Celso recently played in the final of the Conference League for Betis, where they faced Chelsea. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 20 million euros.
