Spanish outlet El Correo de Andalucia reports that Real Betis would not be opposed to letting Lo Celso leave if a suitable offer arrives during the January transfer window. Argentina national team insider Gastón Edul reports that Miami’s interest in Lo Celso is genuine and that negotiations could begin soon. Edul said that Inter Miami wants Gio Lo Celso and is willing to make a formal offer for him. He also confirmed that Inter Miami has already made an informal offer and will present an offer to Real Betis if Lo Celso agrees to the move. According to Mundo Deportivo, Lo Celso would not be opposed to moving to Miami. Multiple reports suggest that Real Betis would be willing to accept an offer of around €5 million ($5.8 million) for Lo Celso, which is the same amount the club paid Tottenham Hotspur for the player in the summer of 2024. There are no concrete developments regarding the Herons and Lo Celso.

It is reported that MLS champions Inter Miami are interested in signing attacking midfielder Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis as a replacement for Tadeo Allende.
