However, at the last moment, he decided to return home from the airport and instead join Dunajská Streda, an action that disrupted the plans of both AEL Limassol and Istra 1961. This unforeseen development surprised the leadership of AEL and the fans of Istra, who had expected another player from their team to move to Cyprus. Gagua's choice indicates a shift towards embracing a Central European challenge, leaving the previously expected move to Cyprus behind.
