Udinese is nearing the completion of a deal to sign Georgian midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze, born in 1999, from Watford in a move intended to strengthen their midfield. It is reported that the Italian club is working to finalize the last details of the transfer, with the aim of providing the new player to manager Kosta Runjaic during the initial phase of pre-season preparations. Chakvetadze, who joined Watford in February 2024, has a contract with the English club until June 2029. The Georgian international has 39 caps and 10 goals for his country. His current market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
