FC Köln is interested in signing Ghanaian left-back Gideon Mensah this summer. The 27-year-old, who has 43 caps for his country, is available on a free transfer after his contract with AJ Auxerre, where he was a regular starter last season, expired. At the Bundesliga club, Mensah could replace Kristoffer Lund, who has returned to Palermo after his loan spell.
