OFI is considering signing Giannis Kotsiras for the next season, as the 33-year-old right-back is expected to depart from Panathinaikos when his contract ends in the summer. According to Creta 24, the team managed by Christos Kontis has already made an approach for the Greek international footballer. Kontis, who previously worked with Kotsiras at Panathinaikos, values his abilities, and the Cretan club views him as a dependable option to strengthen their defense. A contract renewal with Panathinaikos seems improbable because Kotsiras has not been included in Rafa Benitez's plans in recent months.
