Parma Calcio 1913 announced that they have extended the contract of 20-year-old Italian goalkeeper Gianluca Astaldi until June 30, 2028. Simultaneously, the club revealed that Astaldi has been loaned to US Pianese, which plays in Serie C, until the end of the 2026/27 season to gain experience. This move into professional football follows his time with Parma's youth setup, which culminated in reaching the Primavera 1 Playoff Scudetto Final. US Pianese also announced the temporary acquisition of the player for the season.
