Gessime Yassine Transfer from Dunkerque to LOSC Lille
Lille is considering a move for Gessime Yassine, a 19-year-old Moroccan-French winger from Dunkerque, who is expected to be a subject of interest during the winter transfer window. Strasbourg is also reportedly considering the player. According to La Voix du Nord, Olympique de Marseille is interested in Yassine, and the regional newspaper also states that their sporting director, Medhi Benatia, appreciates him. Several Bundesliga clubs are also linked with the player, including Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Mayence, and Werder Brême. L'Équipe has suggested that RC Lens could make an approach for him this winter. His value is listed at €6 million on the website Transfermarkt, but Dunkerque is expected to request a higher fee because of the number of interested clubs. Yassine joined Dunkerque in January 2024, and his contract is valid until June 2027. In 12 matches this season in Ligue 2, he has scored one goal and provided six assists. He has 16 caps for Morocco's U20 team, for which he has scored four goals.
