Simos Mitoglou, a 26-year-old Greek former AEK center-back, wants to play in Thessaloniki for Iraklis. He has received an offer with a contract for higher earnings than at Atromitos, amounting to 220,000 euros per year compared to 160,000 euros. He has a contract with Atromitos but can be released from it for a transfer fee between 70,000 and 100,000 euros. Mitoglou joined Atromitos in January 2026 and his contract is valid until June 2027. He has not yet played for the Greek national team. In the 2025/2026 season, he made nine domestic league appearances and scored one goal. His current market value is €600k, according to Transfermarkt.
