The director of football is looking for a solution, possibly temporary, for 20-year-old Belgian centre-forward Gerard Vandeplas, who is not considered needed. Vandeplas joined Royal Antwerp FC in January 2025 and has a contract until June 2028. He is a Belgium U19 international with two caps. According to Transfermarkt, Vandeplas has a current market value of €1.00m.
