Geoffry Hairemans, who is currently playing for KV Mechelen, has attracted interest from Westerlo. The club is keen to bolster their squad during the winter transfer window and considers Hairemans a valuable potential addition. Nevertheless, KV Mechelen is reluctant to part with Hairemans easily and has already turned down Westerlo's initial inquiry. Hairemans is under contract with KV Mechelen until this summer, after which he will be able to leave on a free transfer. Hairemans has indicated that there is no concrete offer yet for a contract extension with KV Mechelen, although some exploratory discussions have taken place.
