Gennaro Borrelli of Cagliari has attracted interest from many Serie B clubs. According to Parlandodisport.it, Modena's interest has emerged in the last few hours. Modena is seeking a striker, particularly in case Pedro Mendes, who has received offers from Turkey, departs. The club could increase its efforts to sign Borrelli in the coming hours, viewing him as a potential replacement for Mendes, partly because alternatives like Antonio Di Nardo and Matteo Brunori are considered more difficult to complete due to their costs. The 26-year-old Italian joined Cagliari in July 2025 and has a contract until June 2029.
