PSV is one of several European clubs interested in 18-year-old Grêmio winger Gabriel Mec. Sporting, Shakthar, and FC Porto are also linked with the player. The Brazil U-17 international has one year left on his contract with Grêmio. The Brazilian club is attempting to arrange a contract renewal with the player until 2028, but an agreement has not yet been reached. It is reported that a transfer for Mec would require a fee of approximately €16 million. Reports in May 2026 indicated Grêmio's asking price was between €15 million and €20 million. A bid of €16 million from Shakhtar Donetsk was reportedly made in March 2026.
