Asteras Tripolis has reached a verbal agreement with Swedish central defender Franz Brorsson. The 30-year-old has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract with the Tripoli team, with only the formalities remaining for him to secure his release from APOEL, where he was a key player last season after joining in August 2025. Brorsson, who has two caps for Sweden, has prior experience in Greece, having played for Atromitos during the 2024-25 season. His contract with the Cypriot club runs until May 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be €800k.
