Franco Jara Transfer from Belgrano to Instituto

According to TYC, Instituto has acquired Franco Jara for the 2026 season. The club announced the arrival of the forward as a reinforcement, days after his departure from Belgrano was confirmed. The deal was closed after intense negotiations, with Franco Jara having other offers. The Instituto board made a financial effort to secure his signing, convinced that he is a key player to strengthen the attack for the new squad. Franco Jara will join Instituto in the coming days for preseason.

Instituto is reportedly interested in signing Argentinian forward Franco Jara to address their lack of goals from the previous season. The club has already inquired about the conditions for the 37-year-old striker. Jara was recently informed that he is not part of the plans of his club, Belgrano, which he joined in January 2023. A former player for Benfica and Pachuca, Jara has 4 caps and 1 goal for Argentina. His time at Belgrano concluded with 29 goals in 90 matches, and he left after feeling mistreated. In a statement, he expressed his hurt at leaving the club he supports without receiving the respect he felt he deserved. The forward could now join Instituto for the next season and continue playing in his home province; his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €200k.
