Lech Poznan demonstrated significant interest in the 23-year-old Swiss winger, Franck Surdez, with a transfer deal valued at 2 million euros being agreed upon. Nevertheless, Surdez was reportedly not keen on transferring to the Polish league. Although the club was interested in the transfer, Surdez reportedly wanted to prove himself at AA Gent and opted against the move. Trainer Ivan Leko was said to have supported his decision, recognizing Surdez's mentality and providing him with playing time against La Louvière. The winger remains under contract with Gent until June 2027, with his market value estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.00m. In addition to interest from the Polish club, Sion has also been linked with a potential move for Surdez.
