Liverpool have identified Borussia Monchengladbach winger Franck Honorat, 29, as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah. It is understood that Honorat is being considered by Richard Hughes and Arne Slot, with the club monitoring the Frenchman and having sent staff to watch him in person. The winger, who joined Gladbach from Brest in 2023 for approximately €8m, is under contract until 2029. In March, Honorat told Foot Mercato that it would be a dream for him to move to a Champions League or Europa League club. It is reported that Gladbach will try to make a profit on him, suggesting a deal could be done for a fee in the region of €12m-€15m. The player's Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) dropped to €11.4m this month from €12.7m in April. The former France U19 international has a current Transfermarkt market value of €10.00m.
