Romanian attacking midfielder Florin Tănase, 31, has extended his contract with FCSB for two years, until the summer of 2028. The extension occurred after his previous deal expired at the end of last season and despite him receiving a tempting offer from China. FIFA agent Florin Vulturar revealed that Dalian Yingbo had made an offer worth more than 4 million euros over a three-year period. Nicolae Stanciu also plays for Dalian Yingbo. Vulturar stated that the Romanian international's decision was because he loves the club and wanted to remain at FCSB. Tănase has 28 caps and 5 goals for Romania, and his current market value is €1.80m according to Transfermarkt.
