On the All Out Football podcast 'In The Mixer', Robert Huth stated that if the player does not improve, Liverpool will probably want to get rid of him by Christmas. Huth added that the player has become a problem for Liverpool, and that this is an expensive one because the club spent a lot of money on him.

According to Bayern Space, Florian Wirtz has told his father and agent, Hans-Joachim Wirtz, that although his relationship with Arne Slot remains very strong, he is genuinely excited by the idea of reuniting with Xabi Alonso. It is reported that the matter is already being discussed within the squad.

The transfer of 22-year-old German midfielder Florian Wirtz to Bayern Munich has likely failed. The club's supervisory board informed the sporting director Max Eberl that after the failed commitments of Wirtz and another player, only a loan player can be signed. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €140 million, and other top clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid, have also been linked with the player.
