Florian Krüger Transfer from Beerschot-Wilrijk to MSV Duisburg
German forward Florian Krüger's contract with Beerschot was recently terminated, which allowed him to leave the club on a free transfer. He has now signed a new contract with MSV Duisburg, a club in Germany's third division. Previously, Krüger had been loaned to Saarbrücken during the winter transfer window. Beerschot initially acquired him from FC Groningen for 275,000 euros, but he did not make a significant impact at the club, managing to play only seven matches without scoring. The decision to release him was made by Mo Messoudi, as Beerschot did not see a future for him at the club, resulting in a substantial transfer loss. At 26 years old, Krüger is aiming to revive his career in Germany following an unsuccessful period in Belgium. Transfermarkt indicates that his current market value is €500k, which has decreased from a career high of €2.5m.
