Saudi club Al Fateh SC has renewed its interest in Congolese international striker Fiston Mayele. The Saudi Pro League side had previously pursued the player during the last summer transfer window but could not complete the deal due to the high price set by his current club, Pyramids FC. A member of the player's staff confirmed that a new official offer has now been submitted to Pyramids FC. It is reported that Al Fateh is willing to invest more than a million dollars to finalize the transfer. The 31-year-old is said to be considering a move away from Egypt. It was also reported that Al Ahly SC had revived their interest in the striker this winter and had made him a priority. Al Fateh's recent move could lead to the player's departure in the coming weeks. Mayele joined Pyramids FC in July 2023 and his contract runs until June 2026. The DR Congo international has 36 caps and 5 goals for his country. In the current Premier League season, he has scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist in 16 appearances. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.00m.
