According to Bild, RB Leipzig has targeted Fisnik Asllani from TSG Hoffenheim, and initial talks have reportedly already taken place. The 23-year-old centre-forward is said to be on the Saxons' list of offensive candidates and can be acquired for a €30 million release clause. Leipzig is not the only club interested in the Kosovan international, as Borussia Dortmund has been linked with him for a longer period, and FC Barcelona is also considered to still be an interested party. Asllani, who also holds German citizenship, joined Hoffenheim in January 2022 and his contract runs until June 2029.
