The club's new coach, Tomasz Kaczmarek, managed the 22-year-old during their time at Lechia Gdańsk. After spending the previous two seasons with Olimpia Grudziądz, it is considered possible that Kaczmarek has specific plans for the player, which could lead to his acquisition. Koperski has been capped twice by Poland at the U20 level.
