Trabzonspor is targeting Emircan Gürlük as part of its early planning for the next season and its effort to expand its domestic player pool due to foreign player regulations. The 22-year-old Turkish winger, who is capable of playing on both flanks, is nearing the end of his contract with Russian league club Orenburg. For Orenburg, he scored four goals and provided two assists in 28 appearances during the past season. Gürlük transferred to Orenburg from Altınordu at the beginning of the 2023-24 season for a fee of 1.2 million Euro. Other Süper Lig clubs have also been associated with the player. It is reported that Trabzonspor's management will proceed with a move depending on the final decision of coach Fatih Tekke. The player has made nine appearances for the Türkiye U21 national team, and his current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €1.20m.
