The Ukrainian Premier League club Oleksandriya has acquired the 24-year-old defensive midfielder Fernando Henrique, who was previously under contract with the Brazilian club Cruzeiro. The player had recently been on loan at CRB Maceió (Serie B), but this arrangement was ended prematurely. With Fernando's contract at Cruzeiro set to expire at the end of 2025, it is likely that Oleksandriya secured him on a permanent transfer. Fernando Henrique had expressed interest in moving to Ukraine, largely due to the chance to participate in European competitions. Oleksandriya is gearing up to play against Partizan in the return leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round, following a 0-2 loss in the first leg.
