According to Tuttomercato, Foggia has permanently acquired Ferdinando Del Sole from Ascoli. Del Sole has signed a contract with Foggia that runs until June 30, 2028. Calcio Foggia 1920 officially communicated the acquisition.

According to Tuttomercato, the transfer negotiations between Foggia and Ascoli for Ferdinando Del Sole have failed. Ferdinando Del Sole reportedly suffered an injury during his last training session, a situation that led Foggia to change its stance and interrupt the operation. The player's arrival at Foggia is therefore cancelled for the time being.

According to Tuttomercato, Foggia has reached an agreement with Ascoli for the permanent transfer of Ferdinando Del Sole. The main issue was the transfer formula, as Foggia initially aimed for a loan, potentially with a purchase option. However, an agreement was reached in recent hours to proceed with a permanent transfer.

Ferdinando Del Sole's potential transfer to Foggia, which had appeared close, is now more distant because circumstances have changed. The 28-year-old Italian winger's time with Ascoli, which he joined in August 2025, is ending. According to Tuttoc.com, Perugia has now shown strong interest in him. The club is reportedly looking for reinforcements for its manager, Diana. The player is preparing for another season in Serie C. Del Sole has a current market value of €200k, according to Transfermarkt.
