Foggia are making a strong effort to sign Pietro Cianci from Arezzo on a permanent deal, and a multi-year contract has been offered. Yesterday, Cianci was in the starting lineup, a situation that has created some doubt that Arezzo may want to sell him. Ravenna have also maintained their interest. At the beginning of the month, Arezzo sporting director Aniello Cutolo had spoken about the player’s situation, stating that at that moment Cianci was confirmed, but that the market changes continuously and he had a duty not to rule out any scenario. Cutolo added that Arezzo are willing to listen to and assess offers that arrive, provided they are proportionate to the value of their players, and that the club will not sell for a low price.

According to CalcioMercato, Foggia is interested in signing Pietro Cianci from Arezzo. The striker is the main target for Foggia, which is seeking a reliable central forward. Arezzo is requesting compensation for the player's registration, and Cianci wants a three-year contract. It is likely the deal could be completed. However, it cannot be finalized before Saturday as Arezzo has a match at Avellino and has a shortage of forwards due to Alberto Cerri's muscular problems. If Foggia meets the requests of the Tuscan club and the player, the striker's signing could be announced as soon as next week.

Pietro Cianci, a 30-year-old Italian centre-forward, could soon leave Arezzo, which he recently helped achieve promotion to Serie B. Foggia is strongly pursuing the player and wants to sign him on a permanent basis, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.com. A multi-year contract of two or three years is said to be ready for the former Catanzaro player, with a potential agreement before the weekend. Cianci joined Arezzo in August 2025, and his contract is valid until June 2028. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €500k. Ravenna has also recently been linked with the player.
