According to Bild, Schalke is showing interest in acquiring Felix Passlack from VfL Bochum. The club is considering the German full-back, who can play on both the right and left sides, as a potential replacement for Taylan Bulut. Bulut recently moved to Besiktas Istanbul, with the transfer fee reported to be around 6 million euros plus additional bonuses. Passlack, who is an avowed fan of Schalke, is currently under contract with VfL Bochum until 2026. Despite this interest, Schalke is still on the lookout for a stronger candidate. As the transfer window is set to close on September 1st, there is an added sense of urgency in Schalke's search for the right player. Transfermarkt estimates Passlack's market value to be €2.00 million.
