Felix Nmecha Transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Tottenham Hotspur
Sources confirm Tottenham are one of the leading clubs to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha. Spurs have scouted Nmecha for the last few months and observed him closely during the recent Champions League clash against Dortmund on Wednesday, and their scouting team was impressed by his performance. According to sources, Dortmund are unwilling to consider offers below €60million (£52m / $70m). Nmecha’s contract runs until 2028 and has no release clause. Sources also indicate Dortmund have little desire to sell in the current January window, preferring to retain the player or negotiate a new deal.
According to BILD, Tottenham Hotspur are planning to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha in the January transfer window. The Bundesliga club are unlikely to allow him to depart for a fee under £52m, and multiple sides in the Premier League are showing an interest. Before Dortmund's game against Spurs, Nmecha was asked about a potential move back to England but the midfielder insisted his focus was on their Champions League clash.
According to reports from England, Tottenham and Manchester United will attempt to bring 25-year-old Felix Nmecha to the Premier League next summer. Dortmund does not have an interest in selling Nmecha and in August 2025 reportedly established a €60 million asking price. The German international joined the club from VfL Wolfsburg in July 2023 for a transfer fee that was reported as €30 million.
