Elche has acquired Federico Redondo, the son of the renowned Fernando Redondo, from Inter Miami. The deal involves a transfer fee of about two million euros for 50% of his rights, with Inter Miami keeping the remaining 50% in anticipation of a future sale. Holding Argentine nationality as well, Federico Redondo has committed to a contract lasting until 2030, reflecting a long-term dedication. Elche noted that he is a player endowed with personality, talent, and a noteworthy presence despite his young age, and they expect him to enhance their midfield with his creativity, diligence, and leadership. At the age of 22, Redondo becomes a crucial addition to Elche's ambitious project for the Primera División, addressing the club's necessity to strengthen their team following the loss of key players during their rise to the top tier of Spanish football. His previous experience at Inter Miami included playing alongside stars such as Leo Messi, Suárez, Busquets, and Jordi Alba.
