According to Tuttomercato, Torino has a renewed interest in 29-year-old Italian centre-back Federico Baschirotto, who has re-emerged as a potential target as part of a planned defensive overhaul. The defender was relegated to Serie B with Cremonese, and the interest in him is in line with sporting director Gianluca Petrachi's strategy to build a team with a core of Italian players. Baschirotto's contract with Cremonese runs until June 2028, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.50m.
