It is considered complicated for Palermo to sign 23-year-old Algerian winger Fares Ghedjemis from Frosinone. The player is also of interest to several other Serie A and foreign clubs, which makes a potential transfer difficult. Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, and Lazio are among the clubs recently linked. Ghedjemis joined Frosinone in January 2024 and is under contract until 2028. He scored 17 goals in 58 Serie B appearances during the 2025/2026 season. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €7.50m. Frosinone's asking price was reported to be between €15 million and €20 million in June 2026, after the club reportedly rejected offers of €9 million in April 2026.
