Bristol City have confirmed that forward Fally Mayulu, a 23-year-old French and DR Congo national, has completed a permanent, deadline day move to Portuguese side FC Arouca. Mayulu joined Bristol City from Rapid Vienna 18 months ago and had limited playing time under Gerhard Struber. In a statement on Monday afternoon, Bristol City announced the transfer was complete, noting that Mayulu had scored two goals in 28 appearances since joining in 2024 and had spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Sturm Graz. The forward is the fifth player to leave the club on a permanent basis this winter. This season in the Championship, Mayulu made 10 appearances without scoring. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.00m. In July 2024, Bristol City paid a reported €3.5 million for his transfer from Rapid Vienna, and in January 2026, a transfer to Pogon Szczecin was reportedly being finalized for €1.5 million.
