A report from Il Resto del Carlino states that the transfer of Italian defensive midfielder Fabio Gerli, 29, is considered probable. The same report indicates that negotiations between his club, Modena FC, and Cremonese are understood to be at an advanced stage. Gerli, who joined Modena in September 2020, has a contract that runs until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the former Italy U20 international has a current market value of €1.00m.
