Werder Bremen has been named as one of several clubs interested in the 20-year-old Portuguese-German winger Fabio Baldé from Hamburger SV. Other named interested parties include Club Brugge, PSV, FC Porto, Benfica, Sporting CP, and Union Berlin. German sources report that the asking price from HSV is said to start at around €10 million, while the sum could increase to between €13 million and €14 million including bonuses. Baldé, who is known for his speed, has a contract with Hamburger SV until 2029. He has made two appearances for the Portuguese U20 national team, scoring one goal. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3 million. According to reports, the club rejected a €5 million offer in the 2025/2026 winter transfer window, and his contract contains a €20 million release clause.
