5d ago

Football League World has claimed that West Ham United are competing to sign Swansea City midfielder Ethan Galbraith. According to WalesOnline, West Ham have been monitoring the Northern Irishman for almost a year, but there is no official indication they have decided to make a formal move at this stage. Galbraith is reportedly seen as a possible successor if Manchester United signs Mateus Fernandes. The midfielder's current contract has two years remaining, and the club holds an option for another 12 months. Swansea has already attempted to secure him with improved terms, but their first offer was rejected; it is believed to have been well below the level of the club's top earners. At present, there has been no indication of another offer, and talks appear to have stalled.
