Austrian club Sturm Graz has approached PSV for Essien Bassey. The nineteen-year-old Dutch and Ghanaian right-back is of interest to Sturm Graz due to his speed and footballing ability. The Austrian side wants to sign Bassey on a permanent deal and add him directly to their first team. However, Earnest Stewart is currently unwilling to cooperate with a departure. Bassey's contract at PSV runs until mid-2027, and the club intends to extend that agreement. The defender has yet to make his debut for PSV's senior side. He has 4 caps for the Netherlands U16 team, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €250k.
