According to server Sportklub and sources of inFotbal.cz, Ermin Mahmič is currently closest to an engagement with FK Corum. FK Corum is a newcomer to the Turkish top division. On Saturday, the player is scheduled to arrive in Turkey for medical tests. If Mahmič passes the medical examination and there are no unexpected complications, he is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Turkish league's newcomer. The base transfer fee is expected to be between four and five million euros. Potential bonuses could add another million for FC Slovan Liberec. The contract is also expected to include a percentage for Slovan from any future sale of the player.

Turkish outlet Sport Klub reports that Ermin Mahmic has agreed to a £4.3 million move to the newly promoted Super Lig club FK Corum. Celtic, who had targeted the Slovan Liberec attacking midfielder while seeking another option in midfield, will not sign Mahmic.

Slovan Liberec manager Branislav Fodrek stated that 21-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina international Ermin Mahmić was left out of the squad while negotiating a potential move abroad. The attacking midfielder, who has 5 caps and 2 goals for his country, has had enquiries made about him by other clubs and was again left out of the squad, as he has been in previous matches. Mahmić joined Liberec in July 2025 and has a contract until 2029. Several clubs are reported to be interested in the player, including Celtic, Red Bull Salzburg, and Beşiktaş. In August 2026, reports indicated Slovan Liberec's asking price was between €7 million and €8 million, while in June and July 2026, the reported asking price was over €10 million. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €7.00m.
