Team Talk reports that Aston Villa was interested in Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic during the summer transfer window. Aston Villa made enquiries for the striker, although their main focus was reportedly on Nicolas Jackson. The 28-year-old Bosnian international also received interest from other Premier League clubs, with Everton making an enquiry and Brighton assessing a move. A formal €20 million offer was also made by Galatasaray. Despite the interest, Demirovic did not want a transfer and made his desire to remain with the Bundesliga side known, where he is considered a key player by head coach Sebastian Hoeness.
