While Parma had identified 24-year-old Swedish right-back Hampus Skoglund of Hammarby as a good profile in their search for a right-sided player, Girona has now moved ahead of them. The Spanish club's move for the player seems to be successful and is likely to be final. Skoglund joined Hammarby in March 2024 and his contract runs until the end of 2029. He has a current market value of €2.20m, according to Transfermarkt, and has been capped 12 times for the Sweden U21 team, scoring one goal.
