Rizespor has made an enquiry to Malmö FF for 26-year-old Norwegian forward Erik Botheim. The club is not the only one interested, as Trabzonspor and Greek club Paok have also reportedly submitted bids for him. This interest is consistent with previous comments from Malmö's sporting director, Philip Berglund, who indicated he expected activity regarding the club's forwards in the transfer market. Botheim joined Malmö in February 2024 and is under contract until the end of 2027. The Norwegian international has 10 goals and 3 assists in 18 Allsvenskan appearances this season and has a current market value of €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
