Enis Destan Transfer from Hull City to Westerlo

Hull City's 23-year-old Turkish striker Enis Destan is close to agreeing a short-term loan move to Westerlo in Belgium ahead of the Monday night transfer deadline. Destan, who has been unable to play with a knee problem since the New Year’s Day game against Stoke City, is not expected to be fit until next month but will complete his rehabilitation and finish the season in Belgium. His departure is intended to create space in the squad for City to complete the loan signing of winger Lewis Koumas from Liverpool. The striker, who has played 18 times for the Tigers since signing permanently from Trabzonspor in the summer, will join former City forward Allahyar Sayyadmanesh at Westerlo, who are currently 12th in the Belgian Pro League. It is expected that Destan will return to the MKM Stadium in the summer. Destan's contract with Hull City runs until June 2028 and he has yet to be capped for the Turkish national team. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.50m.
