Turkish midfielder Emirhan İlkhan, 22, is a potential part of a swap deal amid Torino's pursuit of Cagliari forward Sebastiano Esposito. During recent talks between the clubs, İlkhan's name was raised along with that of his teammate Ivan Ilic. Both midfielders have expiring contracts, and for İlkhan to be included in a loan, he would first be required to renew his deal. While coach Abate considers him a useful player, Torino president Urbano Cairo does not want to risk losing him on a free transfer if an extension is not signed.
