The América board, led by Santiago Baños, has inquired about Puebla's attacking midfielder Emiliano Gómez as a potential reinforcement for the Clausura 2026. The 24-year-old Uruguayan is being considered for André Jardine's team following a strong Apertura 2025 in which he scored six goals and provided four assists for his club. Gómez joined Puebla in May 2025 and has one cap for the Uruguayan national team. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.60m.
