Bologna is seeking a new left-back to replace the departed Lykogiannis, and Parma's 27-year-old Italian defender Emanuele Valeri is a player they are interested in for the position. According to the Corriere dello Sport, Valeri is among several players from the Italian league being considered, and the newspaper also noted that Samuele Angori of Pisa and Martin Frese are other players of interest. Valeri joined Parma in July 2024 and his contract is valid until 2028. During the 2025/2026 Serie A season, he made 34 appearances and provided 2 assists. Lazio has also been linked with the player in the past.
