Emanuele Adamo has returned to Avellino. Adamo stated that after receiving a call while he was looking for a team, he asked his agent to pursue the return. He said that he had left Avellino against his will in 2020 and wanted to come back.

According to Tuttomercato, Adamo has joined Avellino from Spezia.

Tuttomercato reports that Avellino is close to signing Emanuele Adamo from Spezia, describing the transfer as imminent and nearing completion.

Italian midfielder Emanuele Adamo, 28, is not part of Spezia's plans following their relegation and could return to his former club, Avellino. Spezia's sporting director has been working for some time on a potential swap deal involving Roberto Insigne, who is also not in Avellino's plans. Avellino is considering the exchange, according to Il Secolo XIX. Adamo joined Spezia in January 2026 with a contract until 2028 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €400k. Other clubs, including Empoli, Juve Stabia and Südtirol, have also been linked with the player.
