Italian midfielder Emanuele Adamo, 28, is not part of Spezia's plans following their relegation and could return to his former club, Avellino. Spezia's sporting director has been working for some time on a potential swap deal involving Roberto Insigne, who is also not in Avellino's plans. Avellino is considering the exchange, according to Il Secolo XIX. Adamo joined Spezia in January 2026 with a contract until 2028 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €400k. Other clubs, including Empoli, Juve Stabia and Südtirol, have also been linked with the player.
